The 4188 incorporates the same innovative dual wall construction as the 4166 model, ensuring effective sound isolation between spaces. However, the larger 8" panel size of the 4188 has the added benefit of reducing the stacking space required when the partition is fully retracted. This makes the 4188 an ideal choice for projects where both superior acoustic performance and efficient use of space are top priorities.

• Panels:
  • The panels are a full 8 inches wide and .5 inch thick and include a rounded edge for smooth-action vinyl hinging.
• Material:
  • Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) provides a smooth durable surface.
• Panel Connectors:
  • Responsive vinyl hinges that are color-coordinated to match the panel selection. Vinyl hinges are attached into the routed edges of the panels allowing panels to pivot smoothly keeping a seamless uniform aesthetic appeal.
• Tracks:
  • The aluminum track, measuring 2 inches by 1.25 inches, features pre-drilled holes that facilitate direct surface mounting using screw fasteners.
• Hinge Assembly:
  • The hinge assembly is constructed from sturdy 16 gauge steel, the dualwall door assembly features a smooth pantograph action for efficient operation.
