SERIES 220 Residential Accordion Folding Door
Residential Applications As Closet Doors & Room Dividers
Finished On Two Sides
The 220 series accordion door room divider or closet door will elevate your space with an incorporated
pin hinge hardware system and a modified handle for enhanced durability and smooth operation.
Both sides are finished for dual purposes such as a room divider or to provide privacy for a temporary guest room.
This series accordion door is a cost effective solution for dividing rooms rather than building permanent walls.
Panels are available in either Hardwood or Vinyl-Laminate as standard. As with all of the door series a mural can be added.
220 Series Details
• Heights: Custom made to 8'1" (97")
• Widths: Custom made to 8' (96")
• Wheels: Lexan axles with nylon wheels
• Handle: Has been integrated into the lead panel as a "swept-wing" panel handle
• Catch: Heavy-duty magnet
• Stacking Space: 1-1/4" per lineal foot plus 7/8" for "swept-wing" handle
• Fire-Retardancy is available

The Series 220 is limited to being made as a single door that can open to one-side or a single door
that has handles on both ends. Not available as pairs and keyed lock options are not available on the Series 140.

The Series 220, 240, 440, and 540 were tested for ADA compliance for opening
load force per ADA/BOMA SEC 4.1311. Tests conducted by MEI Charlton, Inc.,
Portland, OR. Certain ADA applications may require a specific handle location.
